If you do not have an account with LFPL, call the Help Desk number and they will help you set up a temporary account either over the phone or on the LFPL website. They will assist in this process. The temporary account will expire on December 31, 2020. (This may be extended.) You will then have to visit a branch location to create your permanent account. If you go directly to the LFPL site to fill out a library account request form, you will still have to call the Help Desk to activate it.
Research Help:Once you have access to your account credentials, you may use all the digital/online resources of the public library. The Help Desk number is staffed by reference librarians who will also answer questions about how to use the online resources and how to check out eBooks. If you previously had fines, that will not hinder your ability to use any digital/online LFPL resources.
Computers:Several branches are now allowing computer use in the library facility by appointment only Monday through Saturday.

- The JCPS IT department is coordinating with the Louisville Free Public Library so that students’ public library card number will be located in Infinite Campus if the student has a public library card. If not, the student should contact the help desk number and someone at LFPL will be able to assist in the creation of an account. A Louisville Free Public Library card number provides students access to many free digital resources through LFPL. Each card has a password. If a student has not changed it, their password should be the last 4 digits of the phone number given to LFPL by their school. If there was no phone number listed then the birth year was used.
- If there are questions, or if students have trouble accessing their account, they are advised to call the LFPL general info line at (502) 574-1611 or their neighborhood library location.
- If the student is unable to access via Infinite Campus, contact Ms. McCullough for assistance.

NTI update for Students: if you have any books checked out from the Manual library, we do not charge overdue fees. Obviously, nothing needs to be returned until we return to the building even if that doesn't happen until the 2020-21 school year. If you are a senior, I am so sorry this is your senior year experience. Please know you will NOT be held accountable for any overdue books. Please return them if we return to the school building this school year or try to drop them off in the front office in August at the beginning of the 2020-21 school year. What is most important at this time is your well being and safety.
